Something Ironic

Well, Looking at my Tag, you are wondering what is so ironic..
The truth is yesterday, my aunt and the family came back from their Korea ICE Trip.. Zzz.. So sad for me not able to go, Hai..
Anyway, it means my family is there, my uncle's family is there when I reach home. So cascually, we are chatting and my auntie-in-law (I wonder got such name anot) ask me what I working as. Then I told her, Magician. Then she ask what the company doing. Then I told her Magic. She seems confused and ask again, and I replied the same thing again. (Technically speaking, we not just do Magic, We are an Entertainment Company that focus on Marketing and Promoting Client's need using Magic as the tool) So actually, I din answer my auntie-in-law correctly.
But here come the ironic part, MY MOM KNOWS NOTHING!!! She is the most lost among us when she say, "I thought you working in a electronic company?" Well, in the record, if I work in a electronic company, why will I work in the night, second, why will i have such a big bag of magic tools, third, why will my grandma, my aunt keep mentioning about J C SUM, a very good magician? Fourth, why will I told my aunt that I invite her for our show in Arena, which is my working place?
So this show something, she din even bother to really understand what I am doing, every month she will just ask, "Have you transferred the money?" Which whenever she asked, I find it annoying. Of course anything she asked after this question will be a turn off to me, not to mention if its about my work. Very simply, in communication, it works this way, either, you lead the person to the important msg when talking, or you throw the important msg immediately you start. Example, A boss came over and say, "print this chunk for me" You will do it and anything after that will be the least important to you, even when he say, how are you feeling today etc.. Because his concern is not as important anymore, even though there is still some. So the second boss came over and ask about you today, then ended up with, hey i got a chunk here need to be print. And hand over to you. Will you be happy to do it for him and still happy that he show his concern?
Ya thats the part. If my mom have been doing the correct approach everytime, she will have know me better. Seriously..
Oh well, I can't be bothered. :) LOL!! |
