Genting Trip Part 3
|
Well, my grandma is the most excited over this trip, because she can gamble, some time I find her cute over it, maybe if i can chat with her, we could hit it off. :)
So we started the day early, like 11, for a brunch at a chinese restaurant, alot of food, crazy.. LOL!! Then walked around, trying to shop, but well, not much good things to find except shoes, but I won't buy a white shoe because I biking, so all dark color shoes are ugly.
Then, went to buy ticket for the magic show called DreamZ. Its 50% off using members and can pay by members' point, so Aunt paid for us and off we go to the casino again!!!
This time round, I sticked around, watching people play, while later in the day, I went off to do some shopping of my own.
I wanted to dye my hair, but there is no hair studio here, so sad.. :( But manage to find starbucks and get a hot chocolate!! HAHAA!!
Evening Time!! The family split up to have dinner at different place.. We have one at a western restaurant that sells alot of stuffs, but not that good.. Zzz.. Oh well. Then back to Casino.. As you can see, Genting dun have much fun if you are a casino person.
So jump start to the magic show. The starting is good, live band, good music, and loads of dance, but then, not much magic, acrobatics are way better than the magic, and the magic are not as good. The singing sucks because I can't get what she is singing, and storyline, crappy.
My aunt say that the whole thing is generally good, mainly they got different acts together, which makes the different. But she agree that the magic is not good. If the context is given to us, it will be very good. I totally agree, they wasted the space.
So night time, we off to eat at mac, but the mac is quite lousy.. LOL!! So sad man, but it also marks the end of the day, which is so surprisingly fast!! |

Genting Trip Part 2
|
We arrived at around 1pm, which is quite fast.. Considering we are the only ones in the bus, so we made our stop to eat, then check in, then immediately, everyone went to casino.
Haha!! My initial plan is not to gamble, since thats not my desire thing, but well, I hang around and see see. To my surprise, there is a non smoking gambling section!!! Which is ideal for people like us and my family, so I quite enjoy the place seeing my aunts gamble without worrying of 2nd hand smoke.
My aunt invite me to join her, where we played carribean stub poker, using her chips of course.. Interesting game with idea of poker, but faster pace. :) Cool.. when you don't use your own money of course, and they have a jackpot thing!! Which if you got Royal Flush, you get the jackpot.. Zzz.. Technically quite hard, cause you cannot control the cards, so let say this game is all about luck, no much skills needed except for some mentalism. LOL!!!
Very fast, dinner.. Good food.. And we end the night quite early, maybe because of the trip to Genting ba..

Welcome Back.. Genting Part1
|
Well, before I fall asleep on my computer while waiting for the email and work. Just to say that we got an important work to do and need me to finish it before tomolo hit.
So before it comes, I got some time to spare and I shall just report about my "holiday".
Basically, if you guys din get me for the 3 days even online, its because I went to genting with my family, including my aunts and grandma.
So long time since I went there, and I have never, never took a morning bus before, 6AM!! We wake up and move out, which makes me forget to bring my spec, but nothing big deal and then with the bus only 10 of us, we own the whole damn bus. So the journey was quite smooth, but up to Genting, is still not good. But I survived.
Okie, My work came in. So I update later. |

Blogging Time!!!
|
Hi guys, sorry for the disappearing act recently.
Well, as you all might know, life is busy, which is good for some reason, and UM The Revolution have begin, so its time to brush off the dust and get back to shape.
Anyway, recently we are also modifying some of the illusions and it was very nice, take a look at JC's Blog and you know what I meant. And also the new timings and things happening in UM, its hard to have time outside.
So outside of that, my transparent strait jacket is repaired and ready to roll, the new one is better, tougher than the old one, with some modification done by our side, it will be the only 1 in Singapore. Seriously, its not available anywhere. I not kidding.
Oh, next week i going for a break trip with my family, even though its only genting, but i guess it will be good because I will break off from singapore and see other things, you know.. Refresh element.. Anyway, it also means that I went to renew my passport.
Freaking expensive, $70 dollars to renew, and have to wait for at least 3 working days. Not only that, I have to take a new photo for the passport and it happens that I got a bump wound on my head, and it was shown on it, Zzz.. Damn..
Nothing I can do about it. Its ugly.. period..
Oh well, can't be bothered for now, just make sure I can travel. :) |

Interesting Situation..
|
Well, Work have been hectic.. You can find out what we are doing during these past few weeks in J C's Blog, so I just digest here.
The key thing about me writing this entry is because of the recent AWARE incident. Well, I personally not a fan of group, but I do support human rights, etc etc.. Esp Woman, who don't love women..
Okie, but I guess, the current affair of AWARE is getting way out of hand and of course, interesting. Because apparently, the old AWARE is taken over by a new AWARE, and apparently, most of the EXCO committee is made out of a religion group. Well, thats the interesting part.
I have seen many groups or committees being taken over by a certain religion group or race group. Like example, a EXCO committee that only takes in Chinese EXCO, apparently, they will try to avoid people that are non-chinese cause it just "ma fan". But of course thats just an example..
So the interesting part is, We see this everywhere!!! And I mean, if you got the heart to take over a job, you won't have a team up. Because having a team up is like preparing for a war.
I give you a good example, for those who knows ZhuGe Liang, he is a superb well known person in the 3 kingdoms. He don't believe in having war but having peace. Of course having peace will lead to tension and eventually war, but he did tried to avoid them as much as possible. If its possible he persuade the other party, or think of alternatives.
So if you are all hearted to bring a different prospective to the group, go in with 2 or 3 friends, and have a chat.. Bringing in a gang and caught the old team by surprised is not a work of a gentleman, in this case, a gentle-woman.
So now this new team have to face the music, and seeing that they are so blinded by their religion, they are a goner. There is a different between believing in your religion, and using your religion. You believe in it, you trust that your almighty will give you the direction, yes.. But please different between the real and the unreal. Using your religion to trash down a team because you believe strongly that it is not right, its doesn't make you different from a convict.
If you so believe in your idea, bring it across to them, and if the old team dun accept it, due to some reasons, and you don't accept it either, MAKE YOUR own group!! Don't go in and take over people's hardwork and say its yours in 2-3 years time.
You don't see people taking over PAP and then run PAP differently, there is a system, so please follow it.
Somemore if you too engrossed into your religion and see the real meaning behind your prayers. I say good luck to you, may your almighty save you. :) |
