Alright, I forget to mention this in my last post..

We are RECRUITING!!! Yes, thats right. Concept Magic is out to expand our power, and control over the government!!! Wait a minute, above 

all this are fake.

But the truth fact is, we are really looking for people that wants to work with us. Be it a magician or non-magician, you are welcome to sign up and write in to see whether you have the "in" thing.

Basically, we are looking for people that are passionate to learn and do diffe

rent things at times, like me, working videos at time, logistics, and crew of course. So we are not really tied down into 1 scope. If you are looking to do something different and start a career in magic, (Its not easy) write in and we get back to you soon.

Personally, I like this job, not just because its magic, 

and i get to do my favorite thing. BUT, you get to expand your knowledge, like doing event outside, staging for coporate shows. Logistics handling, some indoor marketing plans, planning for a mega event. So you can see, you get to see alot of pe

ople from different lines, I met media corp people, alot of event producers, radio station people, etc etc. And everyday is different, you won't need to stay on your chair and type a template everyday, that sucks. And of course I have been working for over 6 months and I still loving it.

So the other video I made is for the new Ultimate Magic that is coming up soon. Other than all those work, still have the night shows and my shows. Then again, I went for many things also. Like Cheerobics 2009 as a Spotter. Well, Haha, under the hot sun, its irritating, but i glad i am there, in another way, I spot for MaXtreme, an all-girl team comply of my friends, Audrey, Siti and Karen. So spotting for them is the only small thing i can do for them, but of course, they did it so well that I am redundant. LOL!! They are not champion for nothing okie.

Audrey and me go way back to NP, same as Siti, and I remember Audrey as a super strong gal that have very strong determination in things and her life, and always positive. She is a friend that can give you whole lots of support without anything in return. A truly great friend.

Siti, one of the MEAN gals on the run, well, that doesn't mean she is Mean, but more of, if you give her shit, be prepared to get her shit x 2. Haha!! She is really a good friend, way back when i still live at BP, we go out for lunch often, when in NP, even better, home together. LOL!! Very frank and honest is good because you won't want a friend that only like to lick your boots. 

Anyway, congrats to the gal and come back for next year, tear down all gals cat!!!

Alright, back to work, I blogging here cause I finally got 1 hr to do things of my own. Next 2 days is crazy. Zzz..

It was pretty fun, having fun audience in the crowd can be interesting. And it helps create jokes that is like impromtu. Like, there are police around, explaining about low crime doesn't mean no crime, so I end up joking, "hopefully the police won't arrest me for bringing so many handcuffs" And when they are gone, I joke, "Thanks god they are gone.." 

Alot other side jokes occur throughout the whole show, and the audience are having fun laughing off the jokes, "I am an escape artist, not a thief, so dun ask me to pick your neighbor's door."

Even though the weather is hot and I am sweating, even after the fire spinning, I still enjoy myself and the company of the event people. :)

Here are the specs: 2.0 gb duo core processor (All the bullshit about processor are the same) Blah Blah.. 3mb cache la, etc.

Next is 4 gb 1066 Ram (Its the max it can go, apparently, no one develop 8 gb ram space yet, for laptop type size, most likely its motherboard issue)

Next is 320 gb HardDisk (This rocks, and apparently I forgot about telling them to partition the harddisk for me)

Next is 9500 Geforce 256 mb Graphics (It was mentioned that it is not as good as before, but its better than my current one) LOL!!

Next is 8 Speed double drive (Well, not really a concern to me, but its additional stuff)

So for this typically spec, I getting it for 1.4k, not to mention it sits 6.5inch x 6.5 inch x 2 inch. That is freaking ass small and its only 1.4kg. 

Some models that I saw, in the web, esp HP, Acer, their mini desktop is still too heavy, 6kg.. Which is not ideal for me. I wanted something that is light also, that can also replace my laptop if possible.

Anyway, I can't wait for it to come.. 20 march!!!!

I certainly learnt alot through this process. This is the first time I did such a major work and handling of sound and lights. There are times that I am lost, but I glad I learnt something different this time. You should never trust someone that is not the professional in that line, even though he is the innocent party. Because he can just screw you up in the event and then, you can't scold him, like what's the point... So suck thumb... But I did learnt from that.

During the Magic Day, I also showcased my show, which to me, is a big challenge. How to bring out the character in me? How to face the audience? When the curtains open, I was overwhelmed by the sea of crowd. There is a rush in me, its good... I love to do for crowds like that, give me the energy to do my work. A lot of people can say, performing is not hard la... But I can tell you, its so different. Ning and J C, when they performed on stage, its very natural, even hosting on stage, it sounds so natural. When I go on stage, I got the urge to be "scripted". Ya its better to script your scores, but when talk about natural, its far beyond scripting...

Its just like musicians, I have heard musicians that played different from the score, yet control the rhythm and key so well, that sucks people into the music, thats why I like music playing in the past that much. Same goes to performing, when you become natural with your character, you will pull people into you, they believe you are one, and enjoy the moments.

I not there yet, but I fighting to be there, I wanted to be there, because seeing how they can merge with the audience is captivating, I want to be like that, making my show the best the market can find.

Well, a long journey to go, but I have a good start with a strong guidance ahead, I believe I won't be lost if I listen and follow. And trust the friends around me. :) We are all working towards performing to audience that deserve our time and efforts.
