Friday Rush!!
|
Even though Friday is the end of the weekday, most people at work will be slacking and hiding out to pass the day and end of the day, they will throw the load of work and shout: WEEKEND!!!!! CHIONG!!!
But not my case, Not only me, the whole concept magic team was short of 2 people, (Cause they having their honeymoon.. LOL!!) But we still work on the ball. So for me, I start the day early in the office, unload stuffs then went off on my bike to various places to collect and fabricate stuffs, took me a while and thanks god the weather is "good" (I don't consider HOT SUNNY DAY as good) but it doesn't rain, so ya. Then return back to office only at 2, where I unloaded everything again, and started another piece of work, the paper work, we have lots of documents that gonna do with logistics that I need to clear, not to forget, showcrew for J C SUM's 1 MAN SHOW!!!
Okie, not exactly 1 man, considering 2 men as the showcase, this is a 3 men show!! LOL!! Ashraf tag along with us to see the making of a smaller scale show, and everything went well, GREAT.. The crowd loves J C's show, even me was entertained, cause I never see before ma.. Too bad for other CM people, you guys won't get to see it again, or you can go beg J C to start his 1 man show again, maybe you got a chance to see the show!! MUAHHHHH!!!
The best act I love, is the prediction act. I can tell you, its classic, Hands DOWN!!! After that, we rush back to office to finish off the work, while I prepared for my show at 715pm. I performing at a RC for their "voting" event.
I kinda of in a rush because the TRAFFIC was horrible, Thanks god no rain again, or else, I AM SCREWED, super SCREWED. Well, I made it in time for my show, and it all went well, the crowd loves me and giggling away when I talking to uncles on the stage, entertaining them. And they are nice folks, so nice, love them. Though I am very tired for the show, but when I up on the stage, I pull off everything I got and give these nice folks what they deserve, a good "JACKIE CHAN" show.
Not yet, I went down to Arena to settle some errands, and back home I am now, totally worn out, can't think of anything now. LOL!!
Well, this 2 days can be a break for me, Monday we going to rush for another load of work again. Its great because while it is recession now, our team doesn't seem to be free at all, all of us having shows and other work to settle. :) I prefer to be busy then slacking, of course, everyone in the team care for each other and recently, I got a nice cute Miniature Handcuff from Ning! It is very nice!! though I still dun know what to use for. Up to date, I got 2 of this small handcuff. So I have to think of something to do with them :)

A WAR E merge
|
So finally, the old vs the new. Well I kinda of expected it. Unless the old ones are willing to let it go, or else, I guess as the passion goes on, the fight goes on.
This reminds me of a community that I was "once" heavily involved in. But because of the new taking over and becoming like big ass shots, the olds are leaving. But no war is declared of course, because we are a cyber body more than a physical one. So no one bother to fight this war also, including me, though it does pain to see how the world is turning into.
Back to story, heard that they are going to have a EGM to have a trash out session and number contest. Like I say, if you prevented it from the start, you won't need to go so much trouble now. But well, the past is the past, what they can do now, is to force the truth and focus on the new. IF the new are as good or better as the old, I guess they will let go and let them lead, but if the objectives are going to change big time. Good luck man..
Some people say, remembering your roots. Well, think about it, if you are on the soil and you can't bother to dig, what makes you think you will remember the roots? LOL!!! So at least people must put in effort to make sure that people know the roots ma. :)

Strange
|
Strange things happen I guess.. I don't know whether is it good or bad. But maybe I glad it happens.
I received a call from a friend, not really expecting a call on such a day from such a person. But like I said, I glad, talked to her like hmm, 40 min while she on her way back. Yap, the surprising part is, why will she call me in the first place? I don't know and I don't ask.
The next moment, I am browsing friendster to look at her again, realizing that it been a while since I seen her.
Well, I mean life have been crazy over me, lets talk about girls. I been a bastard over such things and I admit to the fact about it. Not a big problem to any people, but well its just me I guess. I got people on my back pushing me about such things and told me to be realistic and settle down. I mean, I did tried, but crazy things always happen when I tried, and things started to get haywire. No time for her, can't do shit etc.
I started to realize, does it gonna do with me? Am I stuck with a situation like this where, when I am alone, there is no one that I can actually hang out and chat my heart out, but when I am with my gf, I din even have time for her? What's with the situation? It is cruel to me or just me?
Maybe its me that not willing to give all out, risk the chances and maybe a couple of quarrels. Ya.. I don't like meaningless reasonings, but what is meaningful? I seem people quarrel over what fruits they are getting, where they are going, or maybe even, entering which way. But they are happily together.
I guess its me that even this kind of quarrels I also don't want, but it is this small things that you remember. You remember the first time you kiss a girl, but you never remember how many times you kissed her. You remember the first fight you got in, but you never remember how many times you ran away from it.
So I guess, I wrong in a way, and giving excuses of what to do and what not to, is the reason why I keep being in a on and off situation.
I wish I give it a try, start to risk life and risk being with someone that I like. Maybe the next one is going to be a risky one. :) but it could be a great return in the end. Who knows... Only she knows.. |

Bonding...
|
Well, Yesterday was a hell of a time. Other than getting the video out (which can be a pain in the ass when the program sucks) but the main thing is we got a gathering after work!!! Talk about bonding..
Well before we went down, of course we did some chores in various places and guess what, my bike is all up again. But still dirty. :(
So then, lets talk about bonding, well, we have a great time eating and "smoking" even though i dun get the idea but had fun doing it. By then, we talked about silly things like "Ning's Life" etc etc.. So then they came up with an idea about me blogging about things in my own opinion, this is what happened:
Talk about the recent AWARE case:
"You know, I think those gals are "stupid", they should have know it coming. If I was there, in the AGM, every year the AGM is 30-40 people, and suddenly 100 people came, I will question the intention and react. Maybe like have a close down discussion with the committee as why there is a swarm of newbies coming in etc. Maybe even call off the meeting.. (I know, people say not so easy, but well, when you lose the ability to do it, its even worse than not doing it in the first place) Well its just me, but I feel that if there is a need to delay and investigate, I will do it to prevent overthrown of situation. See thats what happened.
So guess what, the old committee will come out and form another group, called.. BEWARE .. *Laugh*(All of them laugh like mad)"
So I guess I pretty good at saying stupid things sometime, like there is a time when I did my rope magic, I cut the rope and suppose to drop 1 side, but I drop 2 side. And it was hilarious because I got the unintentional look.. and the rope drop.
Okie, guess what, there is a continue to the AWARE story from here:
I thought of a new tagline for them also.. "New Committee, Old System: AWARE of the BEWARE" And their internal conversation will be, I know you guessed it "Hey, BEWARE of the AWARE, I think something is up.." So you see, multi usage, not bad huh. |

Ultimate Magic Season 2 Finale
|
Well, Saturday, which is around 1 hr ago, marks our Ultimate Magic Season 2 Finale. We are warmed by crowds and they all know that today is the finale of the show.
Of course, its not the end of Ultimate Magic, we are moving on to Season 3, named as Ultimate Magic: The Revolution. But before we embarked onto the next season, we are having a break. Of course, everyone needs a break, we are not robots to work with. Well, the coming season is going to be overwhelming. Other than the usual shows that are coming up for us, we are redesigning the show, which include more illusions and not just that, we are now handling the marketing side of this show.
The good thing about us managing the show is because since we are the performers, we know the knacks of what is going on and needed, and with the experience in show management in Concept:Magic, it helps in building a even more better show. And of course, it sets a new challenge to me also.
Well other than having new illusions, change of management, there will also be a price tweak to the show, which is good for alot of people. Phew, in a short 8 months, we did so much and I learnt so much. There is certainly more to come and I can't wait for The Revolution, it will simply be a kick-ass.
Okie, next. I watched TAKEN today. Miss Fang Li Zhu is almost late but we made it for the movie. Thanks god!! LOL!! I love the movie, basically because its not the typical JAMES BOND movie that 10 people shooting at 1 person and none hit him, and always got a gal that have sex with the guy.
This movie talks about a retired agent that wanted so much with his daughter, i guess its making up for the time lost. So his daughter got kidnapped, he was both angry and sad. Determined to save his daughter, he used his skills during his agent time to locate the bad guys and give them a hell time. The key different about this movie is the "agent skill" that he played. You always see JAMES BOND shoot shoot shoot, then solve the case. But this is different, there is minimal shooting and alot of action, which demo alot of the "trained" agent aspect. Also those tortures, misdirection he made, is also a demo of the aspect.
Some people felt that this movie is no different, but if you really look hard and focus, you realise that what he did, is possible for a solo to break through. This solo, is a trained agent and have a strong determination or motive in the story. And it make sense that he is 1 person and break through a group of maybe 5. There is never 10 people after him, if count from start of action to end of it, he is always against 1 or 2. Never like 10 people shooting machine gun and none hit him.
And not only that, there are alot of twists in the story, which I often fall into the pit, shit, the lead is lost. Then the story continue on what he did to get the second lead, very well thought process that I feel its logical. Not like "Hi, my name is bond, james bond" Then 1 hell time with a woman, then happen this woman is the key to the case, then super tech car or plane, enter into building with 50 people and win the war. That is stupid.
Okie, in any case, this is what i feel and you guys should catch it. Worth it. |

Hair Cut
|
Well, I just came back from a hair cut and a new dye.. Like Finally..
Ya, Didn't have time to go down recently, plus wanted to let the hair grow longer before cutting. So did it today, after sleeping for very long, like woke up at 6pm.. Then went down to tamp mall to do everything.
And I realised I eat alot in the span of time, 7pm eat Pasta, then cut, 9 eat chicken cutlet and bubble tea, then finish le, went to get mcflurry before I go home.
Haha!! Like lack of food, actually its because recently din get to eat other things like ice cream etc.. So I do many things at one go. Wanted to watch movie, but guess it will be too late, so I drop the idea.
Anyway, I can start my gyming again!!! Tomolo is the day, and everyday i will go, to regain the lost time i made during the last few weeks. :) |

Hard Week
|
Well, this week has been hard, and tough.
Mainly because I am doing a major project that is both fulfilling and challenging. My first thought of creating the video is not bad, but the realistic world got me. Its not as easy when you require to search through tons of footage, and looking at the things you need for the 2 sec.
Yes, i not kidding. Judging from the number of footage, I have like 20-30 over to look at. Taking out those that i will just scan through and know that I won't need them. So the thought process of the video was good, I got plans of what I wanted it to look like, etc.. But as time goes by and the effort spent on it, I tend to forget the objective and lump things together. But of course, the good thing is, there is someone to watch over me and pull me back on track when its needed.
So we finally finish off the last piece of the puzzle just now, while I spent several hours last night to complete the draft copy. And other than tired, I also feel a sense of achievement. Somehow, its something that is out of our jobscope, who will think that magician will get to do video editing. LOL!! But well, all of us hold different things other than the usual work to break off from the chain, which is the reason why it is both fun and enjoyable to work in CM.
I go haywire and walk around eating tibits while the video is running etc, ya, almost all the mamee is eaten by me. But like I say, i enjoy it. The thought process make me grow.
Of course, I still got a handful of work to do, logistics stuff to be precise, so I breaking off the chain once the video is cleared and to go out and source for materials for our stuffs. CM is having new toys coming in and we are looking forward to run the UM Revolution with the new stuffs. Its even better and high impact, not to be missed. :)
Of course, all this written using my new mac mini which is serving me well, really love it. LOL!! |
