| As of now, I just paid for a Mac Mini and its on its way. If I not wrong, they are fabricating the parts in Singapore, so it is technically not imported, but factory assembled here.
Here are the specs: 2.0 gb duo core processor (All the bullshit about processor are the same) Blah Blah.. 3mb cache la, etc. Next is 4 gb 1066 Ram (Its the max it can go, apparently, no one develop 8 gb ram space yet, for laptop type size, most likely its motherboard issue) Next is 320 gb HardDisk (This rocks, and apparently I forgot about telling them to partition the harddisk for me) Next is 9500 Geforce 256 mb Graphics (It was mentioned that it is not as good as before, but its better than my current one) LOL!! Next is 8 Speed double drive (Well, not really a concern to me, but its additional stuff)
So for this typically spec, I getting it for 1.4k, not to mention it sits 6.5inch x 6.5 inch x 2 inch. That is freaking ass small and its only 1.4kg.
Some models that I saw, in the web, esp HP, Acer, their mini desktop is still too heavy, 6kg.. Which is not ideal for me. I wanted something that is light also, that can also replace my laptop if possible.
Anyway, I can't wait for it to come.. 20 march!!!! |
