Well, you seen me blogging here now, using 7 fingers, even though only 2 injured, but the pinky can't be used due to the restriction of the injured fingers.
Here's the picture:
Looks cool huh. Well, it seems like a small injury, but thats because its covered up by a bandage, part of the flesh is being torn off by the blade, what blade? Fan blade.. While i was cleaning the prop, i thought it will be okie to keep the fan on, but let say.. its a mistake to do that. So the blade caught my finger and sounds came out, so does the blood.
Then the rest saw me running out of the room with blood dripping like water. I was in shock for quite a while, both hands numb. Thanks god that Sean was in the toilet when i rush in, then i told him to grab something to pressure the wound, or else the blood won't stop. I can't remember who taught me that, but well, i have to thanks the person for wound management.
Sweating like a pig, and giddy feeling, everything was well after that, after i drank some water to calm myself down. Bandaged, and off we go, for the last show of the night, with my 2 fingers not moving. Its kinda of funny, cause i can only swing 1 flag using 1 hand, and alot of things, i can't do, of course the wound bleed again due to the movement, but the show will go on. :)
All well and good, though i have some hard time riding my bike, slow and steady makes my way home. Meeting dear on Sunday, think we are not taking bike out le, most likely bus and train.
So guys, if anything happens, esp deep cut, get a cloth or loads of napkins, and pressure the wound, if its a deep cut, the person will be numb, so just pressure hard to stop the bleeding, constant pressure of course. And then supply the person with warm water to calm him or her down. Haha!! Alright, thats all for the excitement today!! |
